Core functionalities

• Setting up the Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) account
  • In this step, the required basic data is collected and sent to Microsoft. On the basis of this information, technical access to the Microsoft 365 Tenant is enabled.
• Adding a DNS domain (max. 1 domain, continue upon request)
  • In the following steps, a domain (e.g. www.ihrefirma.de) is added to your environment in order to define the access data of your employees and their e-mail addresses. The domain must already be in your possession and the credentials for the administrative console of this domain must be available.
• Verification of the DNS domain at the provider
  • To ensure that the abovementioned domain really belongs to you, Microsoft needs to have this confirmed. This step will be handled by us for you.
• Creating of E-Mail users with the Microsoft Import Tool
  • At this step, the user data and e-mail addresses are set up. We will take over the system for you. All you have to do is to provide us the user data (name, function, address, e-mail address) as an Excel file. You can also create collective mailboxes and distribution lists.
• Configuration of your e-mail server settings (MX record move to Microsoft)
  • Technical adjustments must be made to ensure that e-mails will be delivered to your Office 365 mailbox in the future. We will handle these adjustments for you.
• License assignment according to customer preferences
  • In order to be able to give your users access to the Office 365 service, licenses must be assigned. This step will be done jointly.
• Short briefing about Microsoft 365 Admin Center (formerly Office 365 Admin Center)
  • You will receive a short training about the most important functions of the Admin Center, so that you can create and edit your own licenses, e-mail addresses, etc. in the future.
• Comprehensive tests of all functions incl. checklist
  • Once all work has been completed, we check all functions for correctness and you receive a checklist from us for all tested functions.

The following activities are explicitly excluded and can be booked additionally:

• Installation / Setup / Configuration of Office Client Applications on PC / Laptop / Tablets
• 1st level support for problems on clients like PCs/Laptops/Tablets
• Consulting or support in case of problems with existing infrastructure or networks
• Migration of data of any kind from existing systems to Office 365
• Connecting a local Active Directory to Office 365
