We live in a time of continuous change. Digitalization is making many business models obsolete and is creating completely new ones - at an unprecedented pace. This makes it necessary for the employees of organizations to continuously learn new skills. Organizations, on the other hand, need to adapt their business models with multiple change initiatives, which requires support of its people.
Our own DNA contradicts this. Man has always been sceptical about change. We have our comfort zone in which we feel comfortable. We can see how difficult it is for us to change at the request of someone else, for example, in numerous marital disputes. In the professional context, there is hardly such a close relationship of trust as in a marriage.
If we demand change from other people, we must therefore understand the process that people go through when they want to change. Our approach for guiding our clients through their change initiative is therefore twofold:
